REVIEW
This book was given to me by the author for an honest review.

I'm a huge fan of the paranormal genre and thats why I can't resist any book which has such interesting blurbs.Sometimes I'm glad I took the risk and sometimes I am dissapointed. This book definitely comes in the former category. It was an interesting story with a lot of great twists.I loved reading it and anticipating about what would happen next.It kept me interested with a lot of suspense. The characters were fun and unique in their own ways.A lot of emotions were felt while reading this book, which I think is a sign of a great author. The thing I really liked was that the action started right away and the author did not drag the story to make it longer. It was a really great book and I think people should give it a try.

Silverlighters #1 by L.M May

TITLE:Silverlighters#1
AUTHOR:L.M May
PUBLISHED:June 2013
PAGE COUNT:180 pages
GENRE:Young Adult/Paranormal
RATING:★★★

SYNOPSIS
Imagine if you found out everything you ever knew was a lie ...if you had to change your name and start over again, leaving everything you knew behind. If you found out those closest to you were part of the lie.

What if your memories had been stolen? The memories of the boy you loved. Of your very first kiss ... what would you do? How would you react? What if you found out he was the one that stole them from you.

How far would you go to protect those you love? What would you do to get them back? Only time will tell...

This is my story. I only hope I get to finish it before it is too late. Too late for you. Too late for me. Too late for all of us.

Because ... the end is coming, and I've been shown a glimpse of it.

You might think this is just a story. But it is real. It's already begun and you need to know what's coming.....

NOTE: This is part 1 of a series that is designed to be read in order. There are many layers to this story, and most books will have a clear beginning, middle and end, that wrap up nice and neatly. Book 1 and 2 are the exception as they set up the series. Part 1 has a naturally evolving cliff-hanger style ending, with a satisfying resolution to some questions raised. (As in – the book doesn't just stop in the middle of a chapter as some series do, putting your reading device at risk when you feel tempted to throw it across the room).

Because of the ending, I plan to get book 2 out as soon as is humanly possible so that the wait is not too long. It is in the final stages of editing and will be released late June or July.

Each part will be approximately 48 000 words. This is equivalent to around 150 kindle pages, or around 180 pages in a traditional style paperback.

Promotional price of $0.99 (ebook version)for a limited time only on Amazon for kindle here: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DG6ZGRMand Smashwords here:https://www.smashwords.com/books/view...

REVIEW
I was given this book by the author for an honest review and I really liked it.There was a lot of mystery and suspense and it left me with a lot of unanswered questions due to which I did get a little frustrated at times.Even by the end of the book nothing was clear.I felt that the author should have answered atleast some of the questions .The story was good. There were some similarities to Twilight but it was different enough that it didn't seem like a copy of it.It was still worth reading and I am looking forward to reading the next book:)People should give it a chance but if you don't like series then you should probably not read it or you should wait until all parts are published.

REVIEW
First of all,I am in LOVE with the cover!!!It was a great story and the authors writing style was good.It had mystery ,romance AND supernatural elements, what more does a person want???Once I started reading,I couldn't stop and finished it within 6 hours.I liked that it wasn't slow and had action too.I did see some similarities to Twilight but I don't think that it is a big issue because it wasn't as if she copied the scenes and lots of books nowadays have something similar to twilight. The characters were very interesting and each had really different personalities.Overall it was a great book and I recommend it to people who like to read paranormal romance. I'm looking forward to reading the next part in this series:)

SYNOPSIS
“There’s Darkness in the Wilds”

It has been only one year since sixteen-year-old Maggie O'Shea moved to the Ozark Mountains and was declared Steward of the Weald, the most sacred realm of the Fae, mythical beings with both enormous and sinister powers, who often take the form of humans. Her life has been in extreme peril before, but never more so than now. Her younger brother, Mitch, has been kidnapped by a rogue band of Fae and the demand is simple: leave the Weald and her new life behind or else her brother dies. Now Maggie's on a breakneck race to save her brother, her family and friends, and perhaps all of humankind from a threat more insidious than anyone can imagine.

The Weald Fae Journals continue...

REVIEW
This book was given to me by the author for an honest review. This is the second book in The Weald Fae Journals Series and continues where The Steward left off.I already had great expectations from this book since I loved the first one and I wasn't disappointed. It was equally as good as,if not better than, The Steward. We see some new characters and old ones.I felt a lot of emotions while reading the book(including sadness, happiness and sometimes annoyance)and this shows what a great book it is.We see the main character Maggie learn new abilities and we see the determination she has for finding her brother.I liked that it wasn't always easy for maggie to do something and she didn't always win without help. This made the book seem more realistic. It was a great book and I recommend it to fans of Paranormal romance

SYNOPSIS
Maggie O’Shea expected the worst when her family relocated from the lively beaches of Boca Raton to the secluded forests of the Ozark Mountains. What she didn’t expect was a new beginning – one full of Fae, magical powers, dangerous physical and mental trials, and two surprisingly gorgeous young men. These aren’t the fairies you’re familiar with, but dangerous superpowers embroiled in an enduring struggle among themselves over the fate of all humanity. Some want to protect us, and others would love nothing more than to see us, and especially fifteen-year-old Maggie, dead and buried. Now, torn between her new duties as Steward of the most sacred Fae land and her burgeoning love for Gavin, a powerful Fae, Maggie must fight to protect her family, her friends, herself, and the fate of the entire world.

Join Maggie as she learns that fairy lore is not as far from the truth as she had believed, but neither is it anything like the tales in books or movies. As she navigates the treacherous schemes of the magical Fae, Maggie must become a quick study if she hopes to protect the lives of many, and possibly all, people from the insidious plot the Unseelie Fae have planned for centuries.

REVIEW:
I got the opportunity to read this WONDERFUL book on goodreads and let me tell you,I just fell in love with it.The Steward is the story of 16 yr old Maggie O'Shea who finds out that she is the next steward of the Weald, which has been in her family for more than a century. We follow her journey as she faces challenges and takes tests to determine her affinity to the elements along with deciding whether she wants to accept the responsibility of protecting the humans. The story is very well written with lots of descriptions and it even has some elements of romance in it.It shows that the author has put a lot of time on research. My favorite part about the book was that the magic and everything was explained using simple science. This made everything more believable. There was a lot of suspense and surprises which encouraged me to read faster.I never knew what to expect next. There was never a dull moment and I absolutely LOVED it!!!The other books in the series are just as great. The author has immense talent and his books are definitely worth reading:P.

The Reaper Series by John Paul Bernett

Have you taken a look at The Reaper Series by John Paul Bernett? The second book in the series, Atkinson's Armageddon, has recently been released. Take a look at the blurbs below and see what you think of them.

Atkinson's Administration
(The Reaper Series #1)
By John Paul Bernett

Blurb: The reaper has walked among us ever since time began. Our meaning of time is different; three score years and ten give or take the over or under run of sand in the reapers time piece. That is what the ancient philosophers would have us believe. But now the bells are chiming us into the 21st century and there is a problem. The real reaper system has had a spanner thrown into its works; the repercussions of this could and will end the world as we know it. Can mortals battle with ancient Gods or is this the apocalypse that revelations predicted. Have you ever wondered what that feeling is when you are falling in your sleep and you wake just before you hit the ground? Well, that is me twanging the cord that one day I will cut in my realm and you will die in yours,Atkinson.

Atkinson's Armageddon
(The Reaper Series #2)
By John Paul Bernett

Blurb: The End of All Things is upon the world; the world’s population has no idea. The Reaper system is again running, with a new Reaper. Things have returned to some sort of normality at the police station, the mortuary, and the newspaper buildings. A young girl has found she is more than she thought she was. All seems fine as the rebuilding of the fallen city is well under way, and Atkinson is without doubt dead, his body split into seven pieces and hidden in separate places, separate realms and on different planes of existence.

As the anniversary of the cataclysmic event that occurred the previous year approaches an Ancient Prophecy is revealed, and a quest begins as the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse mount their steeds once more.

This time its personal… as the human race truly come face to face with Armageddon.
